In addition to serving on the Board of Director's for The United Women in Business, Manisha also supports the following organizations:
United Cerebral Palsy of New York: UCP of New York is a longtime leader in advocating for the rights of individuals with disabilities. As the founding affiliate of the UCP national network, their historical efforts raising awareness gave birth to great advances in care for children and adults with disabilities, as well as to the civil rights movement responsible for the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Pencils of Promise: At Pencils of Promise we focus on building strong structures and sustainable education programs. By forming long-lasting, collaborative relationships with communities, we increase access to quality education and positively impact students and parents in high-need communities throughout Laos, Nicaragua, and Guatemala.
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society: The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS is the world’s largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world and provides free information and support services.
The Pablove Foundation: The Pablove Foundation supports both underfunded pediatric cancer research and programs that help kids find health and happiness through the arts. In April 2017, a colleague's baby daughter was diagnosed with ATRT, a rare form of brain cancer that presented itself in parts of her brain and spinal cord. She started treatment immediately at Children’s Hospital in Omaha and while she remained resilient, she ultimately lost her battle in May.
